Cafe Restaurant Bergblick in Oberstdorf

Really have to wonder if I've ever eaten this good in my life. The food was really tasty and the prices were very moderate. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Unfortunately a failure. Exceptionally, we didn't go to the "grape" on our vacation :-(. Ambience like in the 90s. Friendliness didn't really come across, which was probably due to language barriers. But what annoyed us was the food: as a meat pan Declared with potatoes and vegetables, came a pan with tons of potatoes and little meat. Most of it consisted of meat loaf strips (little) and the few leftovers were burnt, as was some of the fried potatoes. Everything was floating in a sauce, which was probably a ready-made sauce Despite different orders we had the same sauce - by the way, as at the next table. The guests did not finish and expressed the same criticism. Pros: My review was accepted and we got an offer for a cake or schnapps, but at the price of the meal we weren't willing to stay. Our conclusion: the restaurant will never see us again! Shame about the time in the evening ...

we were in Oberstdorf two weeks ago and ate here several times. Was very tasty, a bit of waiting time to eat, but everything was freshly prepared. We will be back.

We spent the last evening of our vacation with a super delicious meal, the Bergler Schnitzel, in a nice atmosphere. A real recommendation.

Super nice service. Food is made fresh. Tasty and plentiful. Would love to come back on my next vacation.

This restaurant was very good. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Going here was definitely the right decision! Mountain view currently disturbed by the construction work on the Nebelhornbahn. But that’s true. 😉

Very unfriendly service, not recommended. Menus are passed on immediately without disinfecting them beforehand. Mouth and nose protection is not worn properly. Tables are disinfected with vinegar cleaner. On offer were homemade cakes, apple strudel ..... Unfriendly they said that there was only cheesecake and nothing else. Even one star is too much l

Always my pleasure. The service was super-friendly (although the place was packed) I also can't say anything negative about the food - it was delicious, freshly prepared and fully justified in terms of price. Both thumbs up - we'll be back!

Service (older lady) was extremely rude. Food was ok. Overall not recommended.

We ate here spontaneously. The food was delicious, and I was particularly impressed by the pasta with herb pesto. We sat outside. Unfortunately, the new valley station is being built next door and the construction noise was sometimes annoying, but the landlord can't do anything about that. Gladly again.

Best Kaiserschmarn in the world. Must have in Oberstdorf 👍

Good schnitzel

World-class Kaiserschmarrn, that's the only reason we keep coming back. The friendliness is limited, but due to the excellent location, you don't have to make an effort in this regard. It's a shame actually.

Very impolite. Because of the warmth, we just wanted to have a drink and enjoy an iced coffee. The operator, an older one, came to us and gave us the menu. We looked in but we weren't hungry. She then spoke to us harshly "we should have said that ..." and took the order quickly. Honestly ... Either you are a guest or you are not. Then it has to be said right away. This 12..8.2020 will be unforgettable and we will not stop there again. As a holidaymaker and guest, you have a free choice and there are better restaurants / cafes ... we do not recommend anything.

Conclusion in advance: Service 0 out of 5 stars The Café Restaurant Bergblick has nothing to do with a view of the surrounding mountains, the walls of the roof obscure the view. Since it was the only place with free tables outside, we decided to have a drink there. The supposed boss was the only one to use all the tables outside and was probably very stressed. She pointed us out unfriendly when we "only" ordered drinks and otherwise she would not have given us the card. Another guest wanted to speak to her, but was dismissed with a wave of her hand because she was busy clearing another table. Like us and other guests, he was negatively surprised by the condescending manner of the service. A look at the Google reviews confirms it - no individual case.

Stayed here several times during our vacation, the food is excellent, the boss super nice. We felt very comfortable, we will be back.

We ate delicious food during our vacation in Oberstdorf. The homemade Kaiserschmarrn is divine. The boss is super friendly, we will be back.

Disappointing. The staff was a little bit annoyed and the waitress confused my order. After 1 hour of waiting I was served a salad that I hadn’t even ordered. After the waitress desperately tried to talk me into taking said salad I was very annoyed and asked for the fastest dish to make now since I was by now really hungry. The waitress then brought me some Käsespätzle which didn’t look bad at all but sadly were a greasy and soggy mess.

Cozy cafe-restaurant, located near the Nebelhornbahn🚠🚡, with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Delicious food 🍽 🍰 and drinks ☕ 🍺 can sweeten the day. Very friendly service and recommendable !!! 🙂

Beer garden was ok. Coffee cream to the coffee - no milk! Apple strudel can be improved - much too hard ground. Unfortunately, there is better for the price. Kaiserschmarren, however, very handsome and delicious.

Are here for dinner on 5/5/2017. At this time of year you have very long sun in the beer garden. The service is not objectionable. I ate a lumberjack steak with fried potatoes. The salad was sufficient and good in taste. The lumberjack steak was a little too long on the fire but still fine. The onions were great. The fried potatoes served with it were very tasty and had nice crusts. For this price you have to give 5 stars.
